How long does it take to ship?

Processing and shipping times may be increased during peak seasons, but generally these times are as follows:

For Ready-made items: your order will be processed and be in transit within 3 to 5 business days.

For the following Custom Products: These orders may take longer to ship due to the nature of being custom items. Please allow 7-10 days for processing and production.

Is shipping free?

Yes, enjoy free complimentary shipping on orders.

Do you ship outside of the US?

Unfortunately at this time, Yellowblinds does not ship products outside of the continental USA.

Returns & Replacements

What's your return policy?

Items can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase, in unused and resellable condition along with the original packing with complete hardware.

Items on clearance and those more than 30 days from date of purchase do not qualify for returns.

The item I received was damaged!

We apologize that you received your product damaged. We make sure to ship our products in a perfect condition and some we can't control how our third party delivery services manage the item once it's been shipped. Don't worry, we can either send you a replacement or a refund. Please fill out our Contact Us form and our customer service team will be in touch with you shortly!

Can items be exhanged?

We allow the exchange of purchased items for selectable variants. Once the exchange request is approved, the replaced item will be shipped to you. To be eligible, items must be undamaged and unmarked and in their original packaging.  

How soon will I receive my refund?

You will get your refund within 5-7 business days after we issue it.

Are the colors for blinds and shades accurate?

Although we do our best to make sure that the colors printed on our site are accurate, actual colors may vary due to subtle color differences and textures that may not be fully appreciated on some monitors or phones.

Do you offer warranty on your window treatments?

We offer 1 year warranty.

Are your blinds and shades safe for kids and pets?

Yes. Our blinds and shades are cordless, which make it safe for kids and pets.

Are installation instructions and hardware included?

Our products come with the installation instructions in the box. In the event that the instructions are missing, please visit our Measuring & Installation page for instructions.

Our products also come with hardware for installation. In the event that the hardware is missing, please fill out our Contact Us form.

What's the difference between light filtering and light control?

Light filtering gently diffuses light evenly throughout a room while light control regulates the amount of light that can enter a living space. In addition, light control offers more privacy than light filtering.

What's the difference between room darkening and blackout?

Room darkening shades evenly dim a room while blackout shades block up to 95% of sunlight and heat while providing the most privacy.

What does standard deduction mean?

When a shade or blind has a standard width deduction, this means that the width measurement will be slightly smaller than the size listed. This is because when inside mounting, the shade should be slightly smaller than the window frame. If a product is the same size as the window frame, it may not fit inside and may prevent the product from raising or lowering smoothly.

The standard width deduction is usually between 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch and helps ensure that the product will fit and function correctly when inside mounted.
